During all the week end thanks to Quadlib, the leader of the website quad media you could follow the news of 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux.
Reports live from the latest news concerning the race, the interviews of the riders, the teams managers, and the changings in the rankings.
Thanks to a pix album specially dedicated to the event, and fed with the pix taken from real race, you could see the teams.
A premiere: QuadLib this year will try with a video to make you live the race as if you were there. You could live and live again the great moments of these 12 Hours.

Here are the pics of the new 2010 track, more jumps, more technical, for several levels of riding. More curves, more heightend double pathe curves. A new track, more spectacular and modern, reworked and updated by "The" French specialist Jean Luc Fouchet and his staff JLFO Organisation.
With the arrival of the bike in the arena of Pont de Vaux, the deal is changing... whereas the Worldwide quad riders love and enjoy the famous track the crossmen and enduromen as for them, skilled or even amateurs, are looking for the little "plus" which makes them prefer such part of the track, a difference in height, a nice curve.
Pierrick Paget, full athlete even if is among the best French riders appreciates a lot the meadow which lap after lap makes him feel the pleasant coolness of the grass.
Some like Joachim and Elie Pittraye, "Sima" riders in 2009 will remember for a long time how they have slammed on the brakes as never... ! at the end of the straight line of the pits (shorter than the one for the quads).
Other will have enjoyed the short part, "just a little supermot" where the trajectories are cut each other.

TEAM COZZI-EXTREMETECH ,HM european official works team is entering 2 bike like in 2009,the 2 TRX 450, will be 2 state of the art machine that this year will introduce in house develop carbon fibre swingarm and other special component in the ATV arena,like new Extremetech front light weight shox with "HBC" hydraulic bump control, and a new rear monoshox with 50mm piston,titanium coating body and piggy back style reservoir, unique in the aftermarket TRX application.
After the good result over the past 2 year ,where the Team finish 2 time 3° in 2008 and 4th overall with the first bike and 12th with the second in 2009,is this year hoping to improve is overall result.
The team owner Giuliano Cozzi , feel confident after having a very successful season up till now with his top riders in Italian championship and European UEM,Nicola Montalbini.

Quad Passion
Quad Passion Magazine is again the exclusive media partner of the mythical 12 Hours of Pont de Vaux.
All the nicest pictures, the rankings and a full release of the race will be available in Dirt Quad, the only magazine fully dedicated to sport quads and in Quad Passion Magazine the European leader.
Too much a reporters team will be at Pont de Vaux to film the race. The DVD of the 24th edition of the legendar race will be delivered a few weeks later. The headquarter of both magazines will be in the QuadExpo, to meet readers and partners.

At the same time of the Mondial, a display of SSV will be held for the greatest pleasure of the RZR fans and riding lovers. No doubt that the show will be there on the track.
That's a new opportunity to take the most of your RZR on the very new track fully reworked and to enjoy not only a very good week end but also many others activities offered on the site (trial course, hell and mud, freestyle, exhibition...)

Emirates
Came from Dubaï a few years ago to discover PDV, Sebastian Husseini and his teamates Mohamed AlShamsi, Obaid Al Kitbe will enter this year.
Sebastian is Dutch/Libanese but is living in Dubaï his whole life. Mohammed and Obaid are local arabs from
the United Arab Emirates.
The three of them have been competing in the U.A.E. in quad MX , Baja and cross country rallies since 2003 and have always had very strong competition between them and between them three have won nearly all the quad races in the Middle East over the past 5 years. The quad racing scene is quite large there especially the long distance desert racing so each of them show their strength most in long distance endurance events. They have never raced together in the same team before but have been wanting to team up for a long time now to come and race the PDV.
"Together with the support of KTM UAE , we are proud to be the first Arab team and the first team from the
Emirates to compete along side the worlds best at PDV. It is a completely new challenge for us all , we have never never raced in the rain or cold, but we have been preparing our best and all training very hard the whole season, and hope we can offer some good competition in August".
A real challenge for these 3 riders we will be very proud to welcome on our track for PDV2010 !

Bresse Quad Racing
Bresse Quad Racing, the regional KTM quads dealer is entering 6 quads to PDV2010.
With the largest number of quads riding for one team, Manu the Boss of the French team (Chalon sur Saône) is at the head of one of the biggest teams entering the list of the 24th edition of the Mondial.
Ranked in the top 7 at the end of the 12 hours race in 2009, thanks to the fast and experienced Jimmy Fèvre and Vincent Broyer (best regional riders) they will race with Romain Bouiller.
These riders as well as other top riders will be on the track in 2010, their ambiton is to come up in the final rankings. To reach this target their KTM 525 are now among the best machines.

For this 24th edition of the Mondial, we promise you now a 100% freestyle show with the USA HBomb Polaris team and Blackliner FMX who will be there to inflame the public.
For the 3rd consecutive year, the USA HBomb Team, Polaris official partner, will be back at Pont de Vaux with their amazing show. Once again this year, the HBomb 3 riders, the Moore Bros Caleb and Colten and Rafa Munoz will perform unrivalled figures such as the famous one hand backflip over his teammates and as a last show a jump with a RZR (the Polaris SSV). Thanks to the efforts of Boutiquad, our partner and the involvement of Polaris France HBomb will be back at Pont de Vaux for the week end to offer you once again a crazy show

Can Am Motoworks
pulls out all stops
Hell of a team at Motoworks for 2010. Weinen, Natalie, Warnia, Frederichs and Zimmermann gathered together in 2 teams for victory. The US team will be at PDV to work the famous Canadian brand at the highest step of the podium.
Furthermore, Stéphane Piron, two times winner of the Mondial should be one of the choice riders of LM Motors, representative of Can-Am Benelux or even Somagri who has recruited Guy Meertens, former winner of PDV joined with his talentuous teammates Timothée Hieff and Jonathan Leroy. Marco and Massimo Magnetti, team Fun Offroad will run under the colour of Italy Can-Am.
As for France, very bad news with the withdrawal of Gregory Lassaigne. Seriously injured during the French Championship he won't take part to the event. On the French side the black and yellow brand will be put her hopes on the JPS team, 2 machines entered by the Soyer Bros.

The Greens strike back
Far from throwing in the towel, this year Kawasaki Motor France will focus their strength with only one official team but a top team with Anthony Cazalas, the speed rider from Royan and Sebastien Borne the spectacular racer from Franche-Comté both from the KMF network.
To set up their team Kawasaki went in Italy to recruit one of the best experienced rider of the World : Sergio Gilli. Sergio is used to the brand for which he races the Italian Championship and he will be the team manager of the Team Green for the Mondial. Moreover he is a regular rider with 10 participations ! (3rd in 2008 with the team Holz USA).

Hell and mud
A new concept in the meadow of Pont de Vaux
In 2008 with the team Passion ATV, we made a new track, separate from the famous track of the 12 Hours so that the exhibitors could test their materials.
This year, the track fully reworked, extended, widened, with more security will be dedicated to the 3 or 4 wheels riders (with handlebars or steering wheel) and on top of that a new additional spot will be made to fulfill the craziest wishes of the professionals, assayers and all sort of fighters.
Two kinds of tracks :
- The « Hell » track is a course with most of trial reliefs and crossing areas with many natural fences such as wood, stones, ground...
- The “Mud” track is a course made for amateurs of mire, an exceptional track with a mud pit 15 metres wide with a 2 levels bottom plus a serie of under mud whoops and then big ruts crossing the bridge.
A new tool for exhibitors and dealers present at the QuadExpo. For the public, this new show is a must.

A look back to the PDV Events press meeting
Many thanks to all the journalists who have attended the meeting. And also many thanks to all the sponsors we had the pleasure to welcome on the boat.
12 months working for the promoters of this double Summer event which will gather the top riders of the World and the week after... some of the biggest names of the World Moto Cross.
A quick summary of the great moments of the 2009 edition, Jean Michel Abfalter, the big winner as well as his young rider Sébastien Cornier came to present his Team Race 2010.
Many thanks to Goes Europe for having put at our disposal 2 Zero Motorcycles bikes. The riders present at the meeting could test them ! Thierry Viardot, Fabien Rousseau, Patrice Castellano (he presented us the common plan "Cross 50" he shared with Suzuki and Valenti).
A very nice opportunity for all the riders, journalists, and those who are preparing the machines to test the potential and the promises of those machines on the track.

The first press meeting of PDVRacing was held at the Enduropale !
Taking advantage of the comfortable hospitality of Kenny Racing, in a warm atmosphere, the PDV staff could present their double Summer events !
With the complicity of the famous yellow-red-blue bulls brand, many journalists, importers, top riders (rather bikers among whom Pichon, Despres, Bethys... ) and racing stable officials could be informed of the outlines for 2010...
The ATV big names were also there (Marta Bubak and the ATV Polska team, Winrow, Warnia, Lassaigne, Riccardo Ventura from Quaddy...).
A short time of relaxing and respite for everybody before two extrem racing crasy days on the beach !
Many thoughts also for Tim and all the Potisek's family !

NORA MX Quad Racing
in the race !
A few years ago Chris Murphy, boss of the Nora MX Racing Quad www.nora-mx.org.uk launched the trophy for the British Veteran riders the best ranked at Pont de Vaux, for PDV2010 at the end of the Mondial de Quad he will reward the 3 best British teams.
Not only promoter of several championships in the UK with the NMXRQ, superbikes series, superquaders, Chris Murphy is also a regular MX quad rider and is also sportswriter for the British magazine Quad Magazine.
Chris is a regular rider of the 12 Hours since several years now and he is not unknown anymore in the Pont de Vaux land thanks to sport reports and stories written there.
But today it seems that in the Murphy clan, the brilliant and young hope Stefan Murphy is relieving his father.
Since 2 or 3 seasons, his ambitions are the podiums of the British championships and PDV...
-18th PDV 2007 with Honda Racing UK
-10th PDV 2008 with Filtec GYTR Yamaha
- 3rd round 1 at PDV 2009 with SMR Fourtech Honda under the colours of the team NORA-MX.
Unfortunately engine troubles during the 2nd round relegated them to the bottom of the classifications. The race had started well for them with a 3rd time at the official practices (teammate Jason Macbeth)
Their new participation is announced for 2010 ! as well as those of many other British riders whose great return at PDV began last year...
With the 3-time winner Paul Winrow (1992/2000/2001) and twice winner John Mitchell (2004/2006) a new victory of a British team may be strongly probable in next August.

Mondial would like to have some rest, the technical
director Maurice Maingret already told that next year
things will have to be better :
« I’m really satisfied with the quality of the races
and the number of visitors who came. I’m also very
pleased to see all the professionals present there
as the Mondial promises to have a long life ahead.
Shows and activities have found their public and
are now hold for a long time in our programm. But
we can do better !
